Am Freitag, 26. Oktober 2018 von 11.00 – 12.30 Uhr fand das Webinar@Weblaw –  «Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing: Predicting Judicial Decisions» statt.

Online-Veranstaltung zum Thema «Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing: Predicting Judicial Decisions»

The first aim of this webinar is to introduce to a wider legal audience the original approach I used with my computer scientist co-researchers to predict judgments of the ECtHR using natural language processing and machine learning techniques. The second aim consists in providing a critical discussion of the results, both in terms of their limits and of their potential significance for future developments in judicial decision-making and the legal professions.
